Abraham "Abe" J.C. Miller

FREDERICKSBURG - Abe J.C. Miller, 90, of 7874 County Road 201, Fredericksburg, died Saturday afternoon, Aug. 8, 2020 at his home.

Abe was born on May 22, 1930 near Fredericksburg to the late Joe C.D. and Emma (Wengerd) Miller. He married Fannie D. Schlabach, on Oct. 16, 1952 and she preceded him in death on Jan. 30, 2007. He had lived at his home since 1952 and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church having been ordained a Minister on May 3, 1975.

He is survived by his children, John (Emma) Miller, Anna (Andy) Keim, and Mary (Raymond) Yoder all of Fredericksburg, Sarah Miller and Eli (Martha) Miller both of the home, and Joe (Mary) Miller of and Emma (Eli) Miller both of Fredericksburg; 46 grandchildren, 160 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ada (Roman) Yoder of Fredericksburg and 2 sisters-in law, Mattie Miller and Sarah Miller both of Fredericksburg.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie; brothers, Crist, Andy, Neal, Ammon, John and Joe; sisters, Mary, Amanda, Sarah, Anna, Mattie, Edna, and Emma; a grandson, an infant granddaughter, and 2 infant grandsons.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Aug 11th, at 9:30 a.m. at the family home with Minister Mervin Hershberger officiating. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery, Fredericksburg. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements. The family would like to thank Life Care Hospice for their kindness and services.
