About Anna Perl
Anna Duklauer Perl was born in Szczawnica, a small alpine village in Poland. Just prior to WW2 she and her family moved to Zakopane.
When the war broke out the family was moved to the Krakow ghetto.Anna and her sister worked in the Plaszow Concentration Camp laundry when she was recruited to work in the Oscar Schindler factory, thus saved from certain death. She was number 34 on the Schindler's List. [http://auschwitz.dk/schindlerslist.htm A prisoner ID #76235 was tattooed in blue ink on her arm.
Sadly she lost all her immediate and extended family.
