About Anne Jones
Rowland Jones, first rector of Bruton Parish in Williamsburg, Virginia. Rev. Jones married a second time, Ann Lane.[4] in 1669 in James City, Bruton, Virginia [5] Alternate spelling of his wife: Ann Lain born 1650 married to Rowland Jones born 1644. [6] Their son was Orlando Jones (the grandfather of Martha Dandridge Washington, the First Lady of the United States).
Rowland Jones married (3) Anne Lane Abt. 1682. She was born Abt. 1644 in James City County, Virginia, and died Abt. 1682. Rowland Jones had been the first rector of the newly formed Bruton Parish Church from 1674 until his death in 1688.
