Richard Odom died August 12, 1727, and his will was proved January 12, 1727 in Chowan County, North Carolina. In his will he named his sons Richard, John, Jacob, Aaron and Abraham, and gave each of them plantation. His daughters name was listed as Ann, Sarah, Elizabeth, and Jane and he also mention a granddaughter Ann Vann; Edward Vann evidently married one of his daughters 1-360.
