Here he met Mina Belle Brady, who was living with her grandparents. They were married in 1902, and remained in Oklahoma for one year, then moved back to Cowley County, Knasas. He spent the next 15 years working on the shaver ranch. he farmed and did county road work for several years. In 1932 he moved to cedar Vale, Kansas and worked as a machinist. They lived at Ft. Scott, Kansas for a few years, then returned to Cedar Vale, Kansas, where he retired. He had a work shop by his home in Cedar Vale and was never hapier than when something broke, so he could fix it. They had been married 60 years 1 month and 20 days when Mina died. Arden lived in Cedar Vale until 1968, when he had pneumonia and a heart attack. he passed away Dec 9, 1968 at the age of 86 year, 2mo. and 10 days, in Winfield, Kansas.</line><line /><line /><line /><line /><line /><line>.
