"Glenny, Michael Valentine Guybon (1927–1990), Russian scholar and translator, was born at 45 Devonshire Street, London, on 26 September 1927, the only child of Arthur Willoughby Falls Glenny (d. 1947) and his wife, Avice Noel Boyes.
