Charles and Emma Riley were married Dec. 27,1890 in Newaygo, Mich.
So began the Riley Family Tree!
They had 5 children: 4 while living in Mich. ( William, John, Ivy, Nettie ) and 1 ( Michael ) was born in Montana
They moved out west in 1900 on the way they lost their daughter Ivy ( just 4 years old ) to rocky mountain fever. They settled in Ferry, Washington. In 1922 Charles was killed while hauling logs. Emma moved to Spokane, Washington and met and married Joseph Phillips. In 1925 her son Michael died from spinal-menigitis.

They had 12 children ( Charles, James, Virginia, Mary, Nettie, Alice, Leonard, Ralph, Emma, Patrick, Sharon, Michael ). William ( Bill ) was a fruit farmer for many years.
John and his wife Bertha: Lived in Spokane, Washington. They had 3 children ( Marie, John, Irene ). He worked for Ohio Match Co. and Bertha worked at White Pine Sash Co.
Nettie and her husband Charles: Lived in Spokane, Washington. They had 4 children ( Beatrice, Lucille, Lawrence, Shirley ) . Charles worked at the White Pine Sash Co
