Charles Szakas was never married to Iris Wheeler. She entered the household as a housekeepr, when his wife Julia was ill over a period of time after the birth of her youngest child, Julia Darlene. Some time after that they became intimate and had a child, Donald Wheeler. She remained a member of the household for the rest of her life and took care of his wife the final 4 years of her life. Thus enabling his wife to remain at home until shortly before her death.
