Was a prisoner at Camp Douglas, Illinois, February 8, 1863, and was paroled there on April 1, 1863, and delivered at City Point, Virginia, 1863. He was in the General Hospital, Petersburg, Virginia, from May 1 to May 20, 1863, and later in the Hospital at Dalton, Georgia. He was finally paroled on May 23, 1865, at Post of Columbus, Mississippi.
