Notes:

In February 1761 he was listed as having two farms, both situated in the district of Drakenstein, 'De Hoop en Uitvlugt' and 'De Brandwagt'.

The seven daughters as listed here were the only surviving children listed in the Inventory drawn up in Feb 1761 after the death of Elisabeth Loret. He signed the Acte van Bewijs, guaranteeing their maternal inheritance to his minor children, with a cross mark.

When he made his joint will with his second wife in 1768 they were living on a farm called Rood Else-Rivier, behind the Swarte Berg.
