About Doris Thelma Benge

My grandmother was allways there when you needed her. She helped in raising all of her brothers and sisters and that continued into her children and their children. She had a kind heart and a glorious soul. I beleive she is with our father in heaven, reunited with all her loved ones that have passed through time. She is awaiting our arrival, and looks forward to the day when we can all be together as one. I love and miss you mom...

See my grandmother raised me from the time as far back as I can remember. I have whitnessed first hand her gentle touch and kindness poured out over her family and friends. I remember the heart wrenching heartache she went through when she lost her husband and her mother. I was too young to remember my uncle mike but I can just about bet she had a rough time with losing him as well. She loved so much and got so little in return. I just hope that all that remember her knows how much she loved them and would have gave you the last dime in her pocket or the shirt off of her back and if you needed a ride to the store or doctor how she was ready, willing and able. If there was a will there was a way she would allways say. I miss her so much. I am much like my grandmother in all ways mentioned...why wouldnt I be??? She was my inspiration.
