Susquehanna County Historical Society, "Marriages and Deaths Taken From The Susquehanna Register and Northern Farmer Montrose, PA July to December 28, 1843," SCHS Journal, Vol.19 No. 1, page 13&14: Died -in Rush on the 13th inst., Eunice Birchard, wife of E. Lyman Birchard, in the 30th year of her age. She died in the full possession of her intellect, and in hope of a glorious immortality. She knew in whom she had believed and trusted, exclaiming "Come Lord Jesus, come quickly," and he foresook her not as she passed the vale of death. (7/20/1843).
