Glouc and Jane, da. of John Ashe(or Asshe), Esq. They had 4 sons William, Esq., Barnaby, Edward, and Giles and 4 da. Elizabeth (m. William Clayfield, Gent and Thomas Poyntz, Gent), Margery (or Margaret; m. Samuel Shellom), Susanna (m. Michael Dorney), and Jane (m. John Deighton). Edward Basset left a will 3 Jun 1601, proved 5 Nov 1602, and she m.
