Elizabeth McCormick Fife, daughter of John and Elizabeth (McMillan) McCormick, was born on Jan. 3, 1789. She had 5 brothers and sisters: Samuel B., James B., John, Griselda (Gibson) and Mary (Moore).

She married William Fife in 1805 and together they had three children: Margaret (Thompson), John and Rachel G. (who died as an infant). They lived in St. Clair Twp, Allegheny County, PA.

Elizabeth died of "Old Age" on Jan 22, 1870 in Allegheny County, PA. She was preceded in death by William, who had died in 1868. They are buried next to each other in Bethel Cemetery.
