Ernesto da Câmara

Ernesto da Câmara was born in Funchal in the year 1860. He was left at the doorstep of Doctor José Julião de França Menezes de Vasconcelos (in São Paulo, Funchal; a district where the English community lived) where he was found by the house maid. He was given to be raised by Antónia Mesquita from Tabua.

He's known to have had light colored hair and eyes of brilliant blue. He is rumored to have had been of Celtic and French origin.

As an adult, he worked as a whaler in Azores.
