About Frederick Snyder (Schneider)
Note: In 1819, Frederick Snyder purchased land in Toby Township, Armstrong County. (later Clarion Co). He divided this land between his sons Daniel, George and himself. He sold them each about 128 acres each for $20.00. His other son John inherited the third parcel which Frederick lived on. John was unmarried. Frederick also sold 6 acres to the United German Luteran & Presbyterian Congregation in 1827. In 1842 The grandchildren of Frederick Snyder sold their inhertance to William Ruth. The grandchildren were David Snyder, John and Catherine Nail.
