Jens Friedrich Undahl Weltzin

His given name was Jens Frederick but he used Frederick according to the familybook of Weltzien in Sunnhordalandsboka. The Source too Weltzien in Sunnhordalandsboka was my Great grandfather the teatcher and sexton Jens Børretzen. Fredrik's children were born different places at Møre and Nordfjord so even though Jens knew that he had 13 children he did not find his mothers uncle and his aunt's brother in law in churchbooks and the childs names and dates since most of the books are missing. Jens was not born when Fredrik died. Fredrick Weltzien was a soldier as his Pa and Grandpa. He was an officer in Mindresunde than called Weltzienplassen in Stryn, Nordfjord, Sogn og Fjordane and Volda på Sunnmøre. Than he lived at Engeset and Halskjelsvik and at last at Eid in Nordfjord, Sogn og Fjordane. He left the army only about 50 years old because his helth was bad. Than he moved to Måløy in Vågsøy, at the Coast of Nordfjorden. Bougth Blålida but died as a man without land in 1856. Than his son Johan Gullbrand was the owner of the farm.
