About Gerard Manley Hopkins
Poet. His most famous works include "The wreck of the Deutschland", "God's Grandeur", and "The Windhover". His poems were virtually unknown until they were published.long after his death by the poet Robert Bridges. Hopkins became a Jesuit priest in 1882 and is buried in the Jesuit plot of Glasnevin Cemetery.
