Geziena Christina Kamerman

She was born in the east of the Netherlands. Her parents are farmer Hermannus Cramer and Janna Giesbert or Giesbers, both farmers.

Geziena Christina Cramer, 22 y and maid, and Mannes Kamerman, 31 y and day-labourer, married on 16 April 1870 in the town of Hellendoorn in the Dutch province Overijssel, not faraway from Germany.

The couple emigrated between January 1879 and August 1881 to the Dutch settlement Overisel, Allegan County, in the western part of Michigan, USA. On 19 August 1881 their son Johannes (John) was born there. On 16 April 1883 their daughter Gesiena Kamerman, born on 6 January 1879 at Raalte, in the Dutch province Overijssel, died at the age of 4 years at Overisel.
