Henry Chambers, Sr. was born on November 8, 1757 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States to Robert Chambers and Jennet Futhey Elliot Chambers. Henry married (1.) Agness McHenry on May 11, 1775 in Rowan County, North Carolina, United States and had 9 children: Henry Chambers, Jane Chambers, Elinor Chambers, David Chambers, Nancy Chambers, Catherine Chambers, Joseph Chambers, Maxwell Chambers, and Margaret Chambers. Henry married (2.) Ann Chambers on July 8, 1803 in Iredell County, North Carolina, United States and had 2 children: Ranson Chambers and Unknown Chambers. He passed away on July 12, 1817 in Iredell County, North Carolina, United States. He is buried in Old Fourth Creek Cemetery, Statesville, Iredell County, North Carolina, United States. (Headstone is no longer visible, but cemetery records confirm burial.)
