Disambiguation
- not the husband of Abigail Glover
- not the same as Henry Glover, of Dedham
- not the same as Henry Glover, of New Haven
- was he the emigrant on the Elizabeth in 1634? If so, there is no further record of that man in New England
Was it this Henry Glover who arrived April 30, 1634 on the Elizabeth of Ipswich? The immigrant was age 24 when on the Elizabeth, so born c. 1610 - could not be this Henry.
from Robert Charles Anderson, The Great Migration: Immigrants to New England 1634 to 1635 Boston, New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1999-2011, Vol III, G-H, pages 70-71.
Henry was born about 1610. On April 30, 1634, "Henery Glover," age 24, enrolled at Ipswich as a passenger for New England on the Elizabeth. Anderson states that it is unlikely that this Henry Glover is the Henry Glover who settled in New Haven.

- Found in Glover Memorials and Genealogies: There was a John Glover living in Boston who owned an estate on or near the Common and continued there until after 1677. He had a wife Mary and had four children recorded in Boston records. His origin is known only by conjecture and some slight evidence that he may have been another son of Henry and Abigail Glover.
