About Herbert lll Pelham, Esq.
Graduated at Oxford 1619, and bore his father's Arms in the Hastings muster the same year. He came to Massachusetts in 1638, was first treasurer of Harvard College and returned to England 1649, where he died in 1673.

Will dated at Ferrers in Bewers Hamlet, co. Essex, 1 Jan 1672 gave to sisters Elizabeth Pelham & Penelope Bellingham; sons Waldegrave, Edward, Nathaniel & Henry; daughters Penelope Winslow, Anne P., Katherine Clark, & ?, wife of Cuthlach Eliot.
