Bartrum, taking from Dwnn, gives this Jane as a daughter of Cynwrig ap Rhiwallon, and wife of Madog ap Cadwgan. Both are conflations with another Madog ap Cadwgan who was married to Jane ferch Cynwrig ap Rhiwallon ap Gwyn, as Wolcott points out:
