About Rabbi Löbl Tauber
(RABBI) LOBL [YEHUDA LEIB] [LEOPOLD] [ARYEH-LEIB] TAUBER, aka LOBL HA’LEVI TAUBER, b. Tarnowitz, c1703, son of Rabbi Aron Tauber, lived first in Leipnik, then later moved to Boskowitz. He died there prior to 1757. Like his father and many generations of Taubers who preceded him, he was a Rabbi.
His wife’s name is unknown, but they were the parents of four known sons, all of whom lived in Holesov and Koritschan, and produced three distinct family branches. They also probably were the parents of several daughters.
