Joanna Cobb (Thomas,) born, May 10, 1693, (daughter of William Thomas Sr., and Sarah Pratt (Priest)), wife of John Cobb (he d. July 6, 1750) and mother of Joanna Wood (Cobb), is listed in the Catalogue Of The Members Of The First Church Middleborough, Mass. The "catalogue" of members was reprinted from the History of the First Church, published 1854.

Also, Mayflower Families, Volume  Eight ,Family Of Degory Priest, and Volume Twelve...Cooke Family, (same series) also identify Joanna (Thomas) Cobb as the daughter of William Thomas Sr.; David Thomas II, was her grandfather.

Biography

Joanna Thomas, daughter of William Thomas (1665-1734) and Sarah (Pratt) Thomas (abt.1668-1702), Mayflower descendant of Degory Priest, was born at Middleboro, Plymouth, Massachusetts, 10 May 1693.[1][2]

She married at Middleboro, about 1712 John Cobb. She had her first child in Jan 1713/4. John was also a native of Middleboro, born 10 Jun 1689, son of John and Rachel (Soule) Cobb. A descendant of ][[Soule-33[|George Soule, he died at Middleboro 6 July 1750. He married secondly, 26 Aug 1725, Mary Conant by whom he had additional children Mary, Nathan, Mary, Hannah, Susanna, Ephraim and Gideon Cobb.1

Joanna Cobb died 11 Nov 1724 in her 32nd year at Middleboro.[1][3] She is buried at the Cemetery at the Green in Middleborough.[4]
