Priv. På apoteket 1795. Utförde stundom mindre kirurgiska operationer. Förestod under kortare tider (under ord. Lasarettsläk. Bortovaro) Vänersborgs lasarett. Avträdde apoteket 1821 till sin son Johan Henrik.
