About Johan Henrik Sjöman
Johan was a son of crofter and marine soldier at Kummeludd, Öster-Kalax. He married 1829 a farmer´s daughter from the island of Lohm and moved to his father-in law´s farm. Johan worked as a mason. The family had six chidren. The wife died 1856.
Johan married again 1859 a farm maid Sara Kaisa Matssdotter. They had two daughters. The family lived at
Lohm, later in poverty, helped by the municipality.
