ADMINISTRATOR BOND SET ON THE ESTATE OF JOHN ALLEN (II) DECEASED JUNE 25 1755

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that we Phebe Allen, John Allen, and Joshua Pusey all of Chester County in the Province of Pennsylvania, are held firmly bound unto William Phamotod Esq., register general for the Probate of Wills and granting of letters of Administration in and or ye sd Province in the sum of Three hundred Pounds lawful money of sd Province, To be paid to the said Reg. Gen: or to his Certain Attorney, Successors, or Assigns: to which payment will and truly to be made, we bind ourselves our heirs, Executors & Administrators and every of them in and for the whole jointly and severally firmly by these presents, Sealed with our Seals, Dated the twenty fifth day of June, In the year of our Lord 1755.

THE CONDITION of this Obligation is such that if the Bonded Phebe Allen, Administratix of the goods and Chattles of John Allen the Younger, deceased, do make or cause to me made true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the goods & Chattles & Credits of the said deceased, which have or shall come to the hands possession or knowledg of the said Phebe, or into the hands and possession of any other person or persons for her and the same so made Executor cause to be exhibited into this Reg. Office at Chester on or before the twenty fifth day of July, next ensuing, and the same Goods & Chattles of the sd deceased which at the time of his death, or which at any time after shall come to ye hands and possession of the said Phebe, or into the hands and possession of any other person or personsfor her do well and truly Administer according to law, and further do make or cause to be made a true and just account of her Administration on or before the twenty fifth day of June, Anno Domini 1756 or when legally thereunto required, and all the rest and residue of the said Goods, Chattles and Credits which shall be found remaining upon the Goods & Adm. Account the same being first examined and allowed of by the ophans Court or the said County of Chester. Shall deliver and pay to such person and persons respectively as the sd court by its decree or Sentance pursuant to Law shall submit and appoint, and if it shall hereafter appear that any Last Will and Testament was made by the deceased and the Executor or Executors therein named do Exhibitt the same into the Register General's Office at Cheser, making request to have it allowed and approved accordingly if the said Phebe Allen, being here unto requested do reorder and delivering the said letter of Administration, approbation of such Testament being first had and made at said office. Then the above obligation to be void and of no effect, or else to be and remain in full force and Virtue.
