Names his wife Magdalena; children: John of Apoghquinimy, Pennsylvania; Peter of New Barbados; Maria wife of Jacobus Slot, who has son Peter; Sarah wife of Abraham Cannan of Richmond Co., who has son Isack; Rachel wife of Thomas Hyer, of Apoghquinimy, who has son John; Jaquemine, wife of John Stewart of Chester Co; Lea wife of Abraham Brower; Magdalena wife of James Christinson, who has son John; grandson David, son of deceased eldest son David. Mentions real and personal estate. Executors: sons John and Peter. Witnesses: Joost de Baene, Sarah de Baene, John Conrad Codwise. Codicil dated 4 Dec 1719, makes a few changes in devises to daughters Conan and Heyer and substitutes son-in-law Abraham Brower as executor in place of son John. Witnesses: Vojjor Weisem (??), Poules van der Beeck, James Christyson. Letters of administration issued to the executors "sometime in February 1719/20.

On 31 Oct 1716, Cornelius Cooper of Orange County in the province of New York, yeoman, conveys to John Demarest of Appoquinimink in the County of New Castle. Whereas John Healy of Appoquinimink did by deed dated 15 Nov 1706. Now Cornelius Cooper does testify to these presents by delivery of this same indenture and in certain exchange of land in the County of Bergin in the province of New York with £60 being the boot in the exchange of the above land to me in hand paid by John Desmarest, granted to John Desmarest a tract of land on the south side of Appoquinimink Creek, bounded by land commonly called the New England Man's Land containing 400 acres. Signed Cornelius Cooper. Delivered in the presence of J. Van Dyke, Edward Pleadwell and William Yard. Cornelius Cooper appoints Hans Hansen of Reedy Island in the County of New Castle his attorney. On 17 May 1723, William Patterson and Mary his wife, and John Desmarett and Golah his wife all of the county of New Castle, conveyed to Jemima Martin, wife of Abraham Martin of Appoquinimink, yeoman, for £10, a tract of land in St. George's Hundred containing 100 acres of woodland bounded by the land where Mary Wetherspoon now lives which said land is part of a tract of 400 acres granted to William Patterson, the father of the above William Patterson by a deed from Casparus Herman of the County of New Castle, dated 17 Mar 187 (sic). Whereas William Patterson, Sr. by his will dated 18 Jan 1699 devised to his daughter, Elizabeth, 100 acres and the remainder of the plantation of St. George's to my son William, when they come of age to my loving wife Golah Patterson, 1/3 part of the estate. Deed signed by William Patterson, Mary Patterson, John Desmarett and Golah Desmarett. Delivered in the presence of James Dyre and Rebecca Dyre. Recorded 12 July 1723 (G1:211).
