Studentexamen i Lund 1922. Elev på apoteket i Hörby 1922-1925. Avlade farm. kand.-examen 1926 och apotekarexamen 1929. Innehade anställningar på apoteket i Hörby, på Garnisonsapoteket, Örnen och Korpen i Stockholm 1931-1941.Från 1942 föreståndare på apoteket i Ragunda.

Under åren i Stockholm var han assistent till professorn i kemi och kemisk farmaci var Farmaceutiska Institutet. Publicerade ett 10-tal fackartiklar inom kemi och farmaci.
