About John C. Kleczka
A Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge for 23 years. He also served in the Wisconsin State Senate (1909-1911) and the U.S. Congress( representing the 4th Wisconsin Congressional District from 1918 to 1922 as a Republican).
A strong supporter of Poland, he worked hard to raise money and manpower in its defense. As a result, he was awarded the Order of Polonia Restituta in 1924. The honor was conferred on him by Ignatz Paderewski.
