Came to Canada with father etc... 1808.
His death is listed as May 30, 1841 in "The Doan Family PDF"
He and his wife were never members of the Children of Peace.
He purchased his homestead from the Crown, which in 1960 was occupied by his great, great grandson, Aubray Doan. In 1960 it encompassed 300 acres on one of the most beautiful, scenic locations in York County. He was a member of the Yonge Street Society of Friends, and brought up his hamily in that faith.
