He was a Pharmacists in Munich.

Julius Sichel attended the humanistic grammar school for six years. He studied pharmacy and passed the state examination and license to practice as a pharmacist. 1915-1918 he took part in the First World War.

Since June 27th, 1924 he has been a partner in Louis Höchstetter oHG, a spirits factory and wholesaler, Zielstattstrasse 11 (company founder was his father-in-law). This business was deregistered on December 28, 1938 for December 31, 1938.

In 1939 Julius Sichel was forced to hand over objects made of precious metal to the municipal lending office. Some of the items were purchased by the city of Munich, for which the heirs were paid a compensation amount of DM 990 in 1954. A silver plate was returned.

Julius Sichel submitted applications for emigration to Shanghai to the "Far Eastern Jewish Central Information Bureau, Harbin-Shanghai" through the Berlin "Aid Association for Jews in Germany". His personal files there (DAL 641 and 2523 - with photo) are now in the "Central Archives for the History of the Jewish People" in Jerusalem.

He was deported with his wife.
