BASS - Mrs. Kathleen NeSmith Bass, 65 of 5413 Alta St., died Friday. Mrs. Bass was born in Levy County, Fla and lived in Jacksonville for more than 40 years. She was a member of the Mended Hearts Association and of the North Main Street Baptist Church, 63rd and Main, where funeral services will be held at 11am Monday with Rev. James T. Barber officiating. Survivors include a son, James Kenneth Bass; 3 brothers, Williard, Weaver and Quinton NeSmith; and 3 grandchildren, Timothy E., Christina Lynn and James K. Bass, Jr. Pallbearers will be Ellis Hitzing, G. N. Green, F> M. Henry, M. A. Rhoden, Claude Ballentine, Sammy Holden. Entombment in Evergreen Cemetery by Peeples Funeral Home, 2220 Soutel Dr, near Lem Turner Rd.
