[NRS: OPR.562/1] and Catharine Pollock was a resident of Edinburgh at the time of her marriage to James Aitchison, Merchant in Edinburgh on 30 December 1702. [NRS: OPR.685/1]

Kathrine Pollock, here treated, married John Clerk in Eastwood They were book for proclamation on 26 October 1700 and married on 24 November 1700, at Eastwood in Renfrewshire, Scotland. The marriage record reads as follows: "John Clerke & Kathrine Polliek both in this parish gave up their names for proclam'n in order to marriage the 26 October 1700 & being three times proclaimed were married the 24 November 1700 by Mr Matthew Crauford."
