Jean Chisholm illegitimate dau. of William Chisholm 'The Robber Bishop of Dunblane.' Sir James acquired much more land from William Chisholm when the old Cathedral lands were sold or given away at the Reformation.

    Jean Chisholm was born circa 1525 at Scotland.1 She married Sir James Stirling, 4th Lord of Keir, 1st Lord of Cawder, son of Sir John Stirling, 3rd Lord of Keir, Sheriff of Perth and Margaret Forrester, in 1542; His 2nd wife.
