Karoline Lina Mendl

Born June 19, 1845, Uhersky Ostroh, to Juda S. "son of Familiant No. 16" and Loty geb. Hatschek.

The father of Lina et al., considered to be JAKOB WINTER, may not be the brother of Juda M. Winter, and is not the same Juda, either. He was Juda S[alomon] Winter, referred to in son Moritz's birth record as Juda S. rechte Jakob Winter. He was a witness on the birth record of one of the children of Juda M. Winter.

• Juda Winter von Kaunwitz and wife Lotty Hatschek had a son Johannes oder Hermann on Oct. 9, 1835. Record is annotated "gestorben Feb. 25, 1896 in Zurich.
• Juda S Winter re. Jakob and wife Lotty Hatschek had a son Moses re. Moritz on Dec. 18, 1836.
• Juda S Winter and wife Loty had a son Joachim oder Heinrich on April 2 1838; Godparent was Sallomon Winter.
• Juda S Winter, Familiant No. 16 and Loty, dau. of Baruch Hatschek of Aussee had a son Falk oder Fritz. Godparent was Baruch Hatschek.
• Juda Salomon Winter, Familiant No. 16 and Babeth geb. Hatschek had a son Markus on July 23, 1842. Godparent was Baruch Hatschek.
