Notes for Pascal Langlais: Pascal was the second child of 9 siblings. It appears he spent his childhood in the Bay Settlement area. At the age of 19 he married Lumina St. Louis. It is said that Pascal was a philanderer. It is apparent by may geographical moves he made he was a restless man. Pascal and Lumina did settle down in the Phlox area were Pascal served as Town Justice. Pascal did have a good heart and performed many services for the church, shortly before he died, Pascal had worked on the new roof for the church. When he died, he was not buried in the cemetary because he had not met his Easter dues. His sons buried him along the fence of the cemetary, and later moved him into it without the knowledge of the church.

Lumina is her given name, however, on her death record provides Helena as her given name, but this is thought to be due to the practice of some Priests to provide a good "Catholic" name. Lumina is also known as (according to "The Legacy") as Maria Helen or Helena.
