This family is documented by Peter Craig in his book "The 1693 Census of the Swedes on the Delaware", pg 117. Måns Pålsson, a Finn, (Finn speaking Swede), signed the 1654 oath of allegiance to Gov. Rising. Assigned a plantation at Upland, he did not remain there long. Mentions his tract known as Mons Poulson's Island, located at the north end of Crane Hook, fronting on the Christina River. ...goes on.
States that in his will of 2 Dec 1680 he was 70, leaving half of his estate to his wife Elisabeth (Pålsdotter), the remaining half to be divided among his children by Elisabeth, his present wife. His will declared that children Paul and Margareta, (then married), had already been provided for. Also a para about Paul.
