Magdelena Ellen Wienholt

The 1861 census records Magdalena Ellen, the baby of the family at a year old, living with her parents and three siblings at 30 Westbourne Park Terrace, Paddington, London (which became Porchester houses in 1912). The record states she was born in Lewisham, Kent. Less than four years later the family fortunes had changed irreversibly when her father died in Australia.

Was known as "Madge" by her nephew Robert Gordon Stark and family.

Birth place and marriage place from Dutch Wikipedia article on her husband. This source stated she died in Brussels in 1949. This must be incorrect, as the England & Wales Death Index for the final quarter of 1951 states that Magdalena E. de Bethune died aged 92 in Poole, Dorset.

A passenger list for 1925 shows she took a round trip on board the 'Hildebrand' from Liverpool, aged 65, arriving back in Liverpool from Manaos, Brazil, on 26 June. She gave her country of residence as Belgium and her address as 152 Avenue Lambeau, Woluwe, Brussels.
