About Mahala Malone

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/242055448/mahala-malone

Mahala Nickerson was born 24 Feb 1870 in Woods Harbor, Shelbourne, Nova Scotia to Jacob & Elizabeth Nickerson. Jacob's 1st wife, who died in 1865, was named Mahala (Sears), so Mahala Nickerson may have been named after her.

Mahala married Cornelius M Malone, a mariner from Woods Harbor, in May 1887. They had four children in Nova Scotia and two more after permanently emigrating to the United States in 1895. Mahala lived in Everett Massachusetts from about 1900, to her death in 1946.

Mahala' cremains are located in the Sheffield Mausoleum in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett MA, in an unmarked crypt (#108A).
