Margaret Ruthven of Balerno

MARGARET RUTHVEN

The ancestry of Margaret Ruthven is disputed. According to one account she was the daughter of Sir Patrick Ruthven, and according to another the daughter of Sir William Ruthven of that Ilk. No proof was found by Lady Edith Drummond. The Scots Peerage VII: 40
