Justine Marie Le Boeuf, also known as Marguerite Bellanger, actress, acrobatic dancer, and mistress of Napoleon III. She was falsely rumoured to be the illegitimate daughter of a hangman, and was the most universally loathed of the mistresses, though perhaps his favorite.
