Marguerite E. Johnson, 67, Camby, died March 17, 2006, in Indianapolis.
The daughter of the late Claude E. and Audrey (Johnson) Coker, she was born Sept. 27, 1938, in Marco, Ind.
Johnson was a certified nursing assistant for five years at Garfield Nursing Home in Indianapolis, retiring in 1993. Previously, she worked at Windsor Manor in Indianapolis for four years.
She loved to crochet and work on crossword puzzles.
Survivors include seven children, Suzanne Johnson, California; Tammy Smith, Bloomington; Rick Johnson and Christine Thomas, both of Camby; Timothy Johnson, Fishers; Richard Johnson, Ohio, and Sharon Mabry, Indianapolis; 21 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
A son, Charles Johnson; two brothers, Elbert and Claude Coker, and a sister, Loretta Grant, also preceded her in death.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at North Branch Cemetery. Billy Gott will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
