About Mariano Trías
General Mariano Trías was one of the leaders of the Filipino Revolution against the Spanish regime in the late 1800's. He was a follower of General Aguinaldo, as told in the text, "The Katipunan and the Revolution". General Trias (formerly known as San Francisco de Malabón), Cavite is named after him.
