Her marriage to Nathaniel Bye on 2 Aug 1706 is recorded in the Falls Monthly Meeting minutes but the location is uncertain.

Research Note

Martha was named in the Will of her husband Nathaniel<ref>Wills, 1713-1906 ; General Index to Wills, 1682-1939; Author: Bucks County (Pennsylvania). Register of Wills; Probate Place: Bucks, Pennsylvania, pp 827-828</ref> who died 1748/1749.A Quaker record dated Jun 1762 [citation needed] stated that the widowMartha Bye and her son Joseph were in need of care and advice, Josephowing his mother money from principal and interest. No other records have been found to give an accurate date of death. Note that the series Colonial Families of the United States, Mackenzie, George Norbury, and Nelson Osgood Rhoades, editors, contains extensive misinformation on this family.
