Martha Corwin was born in 1639 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts. She was one of four children born to Matthias Corwin and Margaret Shatswell. On December 15, 1658 in Southold, Long Island, New York Martha married Henry Case. Martha and Henry were the parents of Henry, Theophilus and Hannah.

Martha married Thomas Hutchinson on January 11, 1665 and they were the parents of Matthias and Samuel. Martha died after 1698 in Southold, Long Island, New York.
