About Mollie A. Neville (Keith)
Mary Ann "Mollie" Keith was the only daughter of Morell Case Keith and Susan Catherine Smith. She was a graduate of Vasser College in Poughkeepsie, New York. Her father was inducted into the Great Westerners Hall of Fame posthumously in 1962 for his contribution to the development of the West. Keith County, Nebraska was formalized in July 1873, and named in his honor.
She married William Harriman "Will" Neville on May 10, 1882 in North Platte, Nebraska. Neville later served as US Congressman for Nebraska. She died of "child bed fever" shortly after giving birth to her only child, Morell Keith Neville who became Governor of Nebraska in 1917. Her son Morell Keith Neville married Mary Virginia Neill and they had four daughters; Mary Nelson; Frances Elizabeth; Virginia Neill and Irene Morell.
