About Mary Davis
Not the same person as Mary Totty
In the will of James CREWES, dated 23 July 1676, Mary inherited 10,000 pounds of tobacco and certain household goods. Mary's parents and her sister Susan were also heirs. On this basis, I'm assigning a 1660 birth date for Mary (until I learn better).
Mary, wife of Thomas DAVIS, is named in her father's will, dated 14 Dec 1699.
LESLIE D. DAWSON PAPERS: (Questionable source)

GEDCOM from Lila Lee (Richardson) Hagerty, March 1997:
FHC book VA 100, p. 175, listed as passengers coming to America 1673/76
Mary CARTER, Thomas DAVIS, and Jno. HEDGPATH.
Thomas DAVIS was the son of James DAVIS, described as a gentleman and an Ancient Planter, defined as having arrived in VA between 1608 to 1616.
L.D.S. records show Thomas's birth date from 1665 to 1676 (mostly 1670) and the marriage date from 1685 to 1700 (mostly 1695). None of the records show children.
