Services were at 10:30 a.m. Aug 9, at Feltner Funeral Home, Lyndon, for Mrs. Myrtle E. Rogers, 79, Quenemo. She passed away Aug. 5, 1982, at the home of her son at Vassar.
She was born Oct. 11, 1902, at Voda, the daughter of Adolph and Lulu Ehrichs Schwanbeck. She was a homemaker.
She moved from Wakeeney to Quenemo in 1932 and lived the last two years with her son. She worked 10 years as a postal clerk at Wakeeney.
She was a member of the Quenemo United Methodist Curch, the Sadana Chapter No. 194 of the Order of Eastern Star at Williamsburg.
She married John Rogers, Nov. 11, 1931, at Wakeeney. He passed away June 30, 1960.
Survivors include one son, Bruce Logan Rogers, Vassar and two grandchildren. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Quenemo.
